Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream Review

Juicy Chemistry brand has been on my wishlist since ages. I was always confused as to what to buy, the cleansers, face scrub or a pack. When they had a 40% sale in the month of August 2018, I right away ordered the under eye cream. Under eye cream was on my radar after reading reviews of Archana from IBeautySpy. Let's head to the review to check how it fairs and is it worth the money.

Brand Claims and Ingredients

My experience
As seen in the pictures, the under eye cream is housed in a tub. Most natural, handmade, organic products have such packaging. I have no complains as such with the packaging. The tub is easy to carry around and the eye cream is not gooey or liquid form so no question of leakage and mess.

Coming to the fragrance of Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream , it has a minty, soothing fragrance. Once you get addicted to such a fragrance it's hard to get off. The product as you can see is, yellow in colour and yes it does tint the under eye area when applied. The texture if the product is buttery and melts when taken on a finger. It gets applied easily although due care is to be taken as it can stain the pillow covers or clothes.

The under eye cream started to show effects in 15 days on my under eye and puffiness. The fragrance is a bit too much to handle for an under eye cream. The cream leaves a ln oily, Yello film behind which makes me very lazy to use it on a regular basis nowadays. Although once we start using the eye cream on a regular basis the fragrance doesn't bother. The under eye cream, has a peculiar grainy texture and forms a thick waxy layer. When I opened the under eye cream it didn't have waxy layer. As and when I started using the cream, it started forming a waxy layer. I was worried and I messaged Juicy Chemistry team, to which they said it is Shea butter solidified and it will melt once rubbed and it does melt once rubbed.

Also if you try applying a little more quantity than the normal quantity, you will end up with watery eyes. It sometimes also gives mild peppermint sort fumes when applied too much. The thumb rule for this under eye cream is little goes a long way and consistent usage gives results. If you use consistently and then give a break of few days then the effects can be very little. Although am trying to be consistent with this eye cream, often due to the yellow tint I become disinterested. This under eye cream won't suit sensitive eyes or eyes which become watery easily. Overall my verdict would be if you are looking for a good under eye cream for reducing the dark circles and puffiness Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream would be a good choice. For people who don't prefer using essential oil concoction, this cream isn't for you.

Recommendation
As far as dark under eye is concerned, it depends on a lot of factors ranging from health problems to gadgets' exposure. An under eye cream cannot fully cure under eye area darkness and puffiness. An eye cream is supposed to nourish and relax the under eye area. Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream does it's job of reducing the under eye darkness perfectly. Although being said that, using an eye cream alone to cure dark under eye would be a contradiction. Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream won't suit sensitive eyes because it results in watery eyes if applied in excess. It is not a cream which can be worn beneath makeup to nourish under eye area due to it's yellow tint. If you are looking to reduce the dark circles then Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream is a good pick for you. Also since the brand uses all organic and natural ingredients, you can rest assured of the quality product you get.
