Ma Earth Botanicals Rose shower gel Review

I love using shower gels. But I rarely get the time for indulgent bathing due to hectic schedule. Plus we all love rose fragrance. Let's see the review of Ma Earth Botanicals Rose shower gel.

Brand claims -
Sulphate-free mild body cleanser for all skin types. Free from SLES, Paraben and Petrochemicals, this gel is especially formulated to gently cleanse, moisturize and rejuvenate skin without stripping its natural oils. Highly fragrant with Rose essential oil, which has soothing, cooling and anti-inflammatory properties. Vegetable based Glycerin naturally hydrates and rejuvenated skin. Directions for use -
Pour a small amount onto a loofah or washcloth and lather well. Apply onto wet skin. Rinse well

Key Ingredients:
Distilled water, Disodium Lauryl Sulfosuccinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocomide MEA, Cocomide DEA, Glycerine, D-Panthenol, Polyquaterium-D, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Methylpropanediol, Rosa (Rose) essential oil, Pelargonium graveolens (Geranium) essential oil.



My experience -
Firstly the packaging, it is the signature packaging of Ma Earth Botanicals, a square shaped bottle with a plastic twist open cap. The packaging is travel friendly, being square shaped.

Secondly the fragrance of shower gel, it is very very authentic rose fragrance. As soon as you open the cap, you are greeted with mild yet mesmerising, authentic rose fragance. The colour of the gel is very very faint pink which is because it has no artificial colours. That is a great thing according to me. The consistency of the gel is very thick. This makes it difficult to dispense the gel from the bottle and we have to wait till it slowly ascends down the bottle. If the bottle is full it's ok, but once the gel gets used up, it takes more time for small quantity to ascend down.

Now coming to the lathering and cleansing properties. The gel lathers quite well even in hard water. The gel cleanses well and.leaves the skin silky smooth while in shower. After having a shower, dry skinned beauties may require moisturizer because the shower gel hydrates minimally. I didn't find the need though. Overall if you love rose fragrance then you must use it at least once.

Recommendation
The authentic rose fragrance is quite good and it makes the skin silky smooth. The gel cleanses as well as hydrates and moisturises the skin sufficiently. It also lathers well in hard water. The only problem is consistency and price. It the consistency would have been a little runny it would make the performance even better. Overall if you are rose lover, use it at least once.

Doodh Paak easy recipe

It is a very easy to make dessert which is quick to prepare and can be made with a thicker consistency. Can also be made for diabetic people with sugar free ingredients. The recipe is made by two ways firstly by cooking the rice separately and then cooking in the milk secondly by cooking the rice in milk itself. The second method takes more time and since I blog always about quick and easy recipes we will see the first method.

Ingredients

  • Overcooked basmati rice
  • Raw milk
  • Sugar
  • Almonds, cashews

Procedure
1) Cook basmati rice as we prepare for biryani but with a little extra water to make it a lot more tender 

2) Put raw milk in a heavy base pan, add the overcooked rice and sugar according to taste. 

3) Add blanched almonds and cashews and cook till a little milk is leftover 

4) Remove from heat and serve hot

NB -

  • Overcook the rice a little because sometimes it hardens if cooked in milk
  • If a little milk is not left in the pan the rice tends to harden
  • You can add custard powder or milk maid for a thicker consistency or milk. Adjust the sugar according to that.
  • If refrigerated it hardens.

5 snacks in under 15 minutes or less


We all get hungry and crave for a snacking time; mine is no different story. I often reach out for noodles, biscuits, chips when am too lazy to cook and eat something. But that again satisfies our hunger and piles up on the weight. We all know junk food harms our body still we find ourselves reaching to them. So today's post is about quick snacks to make in under 15 minutes to crave pur hunger and still be healthy. Of course you have to cook and they require little efforts as they are not ready to cook types :P



1) Spiced potato slices
     This recipe is perfect for potato cravings and can replace chips. Recipe requires big potatoes, oil, chilli powder and salt. It not only cookies faster but also tastes awesome wanting to make it again and again.

2) No-cook Poha
     I so so hate the routine breakfast of cooking poha and upma, that sometimes I eat noodles for breakfast. So lazy and unhealthy right. But this recipe comes to my rescue at that time. It just requires a tadka and that's i, everything else in it is raw.

3) Poha vada
    At times we feel like eating fried food. I usually prepared this recipe as high tea when am in not the mood to prepare the dinner or just plain lazy you can say. I have this and for dinner just rice. This again is a healthy recipe provided you soak the excess oil in poha tikkis.

4) Chocolate toast
Instead of boring bread, butter, jam I thought of trying this plus a recipe eaten at an eatery inspired it. It pretty easy and can be made in under 5 minutes and however lazy you are, you will prepare this, take my word :D

5) Corn balls
Another recipe for satisfying the cravings of fried food. It requires veggies alongwith corn so can be a healthy snacking option. Requires pretty less time than cooking boring poha and upma.
