Nature's Destiny Products' Review

Hi,

Am back with another review of a brand named Nature's Destiny. Some months back I had received some products from them which I really liked using. I also ordered a few soaps and Kumkumadi serum from them and have also ordered some products for my Mom. I really like their simple approach towards the products and their pricing range. Let's head to the review of the products which I have been using over few weeks now.

 Mint Morning Body Wash
I like using body wash as much as I love using handmade soaps. Body washes are handy during travels. The Nature's Destiny Mint Morning Body Wash is packed in a sturdy plastic bottle with a flip cap top. The body wash has a fresh minty fragrance, it instantly reminds me of fresh peppermint mint leaves we get to smell in the market. Yes it's that fresh fragrance. The body wash has a gooey consistency and has opaque colour. The body wash cleanses the skin nicely with the urge to excessively wash off the residue. Overall I like the body wash and might pick again next time.
Ingredients - Saponified Neem oil, Ricebran oil, Coconut oil, Cocoa Butter, Peppermint extracts, Water.
Price and Quantity - 125 INR for 200 gms

Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion
Another favorite product from Nature's Destiny, it's light weight lotion which perfectly hydrates as well as moisturizes the skin. The product is packed in a pump up bottle. The lotion is little runny in nature and gets dispensed easily. It gets absorbed into the skin easily without leaving a sticky or greasy feeling behind. I love using this one and after using this I also ordered one for my mom. The lotion smells amazing and the fragrance is absolutely no bothering.
Ingredients - Shea butter, coconut oil, cocoa butter, flaxseed oil, lavender extracts oil, emulsifying wax, rose water
Price and Quantity - 150 INR for 150 gms

Detox Clay Mask
I have a fetish for masks and Clay mask is like cherry on the cake. Nature's Destiny Detox Clay Mask is meant for dry, sensitive skin. So when I applied the mask I was surprised to the amount of hydrating and moisturizing effects it gave to my skin, so much that I skipped using a moisturizer. This one will be perfect for dry skinned beauties as it moisturizes the skin. The consistency of the mask is soft which makes applying easy. The product is housed in a plastic jar with a metal lid. After washing off the mask skin feels soft and brightened. I really would like to try something for oily skin from their range of masks.
Ingredients - French pink clay, Rose Clay ,Shea butter, Soybean oil, Kaolin Clay, Almond oil, Flaxseed oil, Emulsifying Wax, Water, Preservative.
Price and Quantity - 150 INR for 50 gms

Overall Thoughts - I have used many products from the brand Nature's Destiny and have liked each of them. Rather I keep on reaching out to their miracle lip balm every now and then to keep my lips hydrated and moisturized. I would like to highly recommended the brand for the simple yet effective yet afford to product range that they have. I will soon be posting the review of the Kumkumadi Serum I purchased free months back from them.

Skincare, Haircare, Bodycare Empties #15

So this year I have been successful enough to write an empties post each month. Although some products take time to empty, more than one month to be specific. Let's head to the post and check what all I have emptied over last month.

Greenie Mill Rose & Vanilla Body Lotion
With the summers approaching this lotion is a good time to pick up this lotion. It will easily last you one month. The fragrance of this lotion is of rose and it feels authentic rose fragrance. I really liked the lotion. I might pick up once my current body lotion is over.

Sachi Rituals Dynamic Charcoal Calming Body Wash
I liked the cleansing efficiency of this body wash. It like a normal body wash which doesn't strip moisture from the skin. Overall I like it but won't be repurchasing.

Satthwa Argan Shampoo
My cult favourite shampoo which am using from the past 10 months. A 200 ml pack lasts me 3 months so the price is fair enough. This shampoo reduces the amount of hair you shed in the shower. I have considerable amount of hair growth while using this shampoo. I might change to another brand soon, but will keep on coming back to this.

Plum Green Tea Clear Mask
Another favorite mask to keep acne at bay. I have used many jars of this mask and I keep on repurchasing this. I already have a back up of this.

Plum Green Tea Clarity Renewed Night Gel
Another favorite from the brand's Green Tea Range. I love it's light weight texture and the way it sinks into the skin. I have already repurchased this one.

Sand Soapaholics After Glow Face Cleanser
Sand Soapaholics products were sent to me by Archangel from IBeautySpy as a Xmas gift. I liked the way this cleanser gives a glow to the face. However the granules are too big to scrub on your face. Plus you cannot even use as a mask. Little goes a long way in terms of usage with Sand Soapaholics products. I might not pick this up again.

So from the above list Plum products are my favorite which I have already stocked up. Shampoo is also cult favourite and I keep on repurchasing it,

Dot & Key Underarm Detox & Color Correction Mask Review

After posting the review of Dot & Key Underarm Color Correction Serum, am back with another review from the same brand. Few years back I never knew about detoxifying an underarm. When I knew about it, I did try some DIYs with the ingredients available at my end. However applying a mask on underarm isn't easy as it sounds. After applying a face mask, one can roam around or do whatever we can. Alas that's not the case with an underarm mask. We either need to lay down or keep our arms up as the mask dries up, phew. Let's see whether Dot & Key Underarm Detox & Color Correction Mask lives up to its claims or not.

Brand Claims and Ingredients

My experience
Speaking of the packaging, it's too cute. Look at the cute, fatso, pink pot in which the product is housed. Also the product is accompanied by an applicator which helps in applying the mask to the underarm area.

As seen in pictures the underarm mask is grey in colour. It has a strong peppermint fragrance. The mask is quite soft in texture and consistency is medium. I like the consistency since it's most appropriate for applying to the underarm area, neither runny nor thick. Applying the mask isn't a task, drying up is!!

After using the mask for a 2 weeks (twice weekly), I noticed some skin lightening and sweat odour reduction. The underarm didn't feel any tingling sensation or itching as the mask dried up. The mask, once washed off, leaves a mint fragrance of peppermint behind. Washing off the mask is also easy and all I can say is this is a good to go mask if you looking for a ready to use underarm mask for detox. Overall speaking the mask is useful for people who don't find time to DIY and are looking for ready to use mask. I might repurchase this one, once I empty the product. Also a thin layer of the mask is sufficient for detoxifying the underarm, so product lasts longer.

The In
  • Detoxifying mask designed for dark underarm skin to minimize pigmentation and body odour
  • Made with activated charcoal, jojoba oil and tea tree essential oil.
  • Pulls out the dark, dead skin cells, dry sweat and accumulated impurities to reveal lighter underarm skin underneath
  • Ready to use mask
  • Doesn't tingle or give itchy feeling in underarm area
  • The minty peppermint and tea tree oil act as a deodorizer leaving skin fresh and fighting foul body odour
  • No parabens, sulphates, alcohol
  • Cruelty Free, Dermatologist Tested
The Out
  • Contains Parfum inspite of having essential oils

Price, Shelf life and Availability - 675 INR for 100 gms with a shelf life of 3 years. Available on Dot and Key website, Nykaa. Also you can avail 20% off on your purchase by using coupon code SONALI20

Recommendation
Dot & Key Underarm Detox & Color Correction Mask is a ready to use mask for under arm detox and lightening. I don't expect the mask to lighten the skin much, but yes keeping in mind the detox thing it definitely helps due to the charcoal content in it. Moreover the peppermint and tea tree essential oils in it reduce body odour over a period of time. I like the fact that it is useful to people who aren't into DIY or don't have much time to follow DIY. I am looking forward to buying this again once I empty the product. The fact that it contains Parfum inspite of having essential oils is beyond my understanding. It is recommended to those who are looking for underarm detox.

Dot & Key Underarm Colour Correction Serum Review

Underarm pigmentation is a real thing. I experienced it during my pregnancy. The pigmentation surfaced in first trimester and it darkened as the pregnancy progressed. I couldn't do much about it even after so many years due to hectic schedule. While I did pay attention to my facial skin and body care, underarm was one of the most neglected part. Once in a while I did try DIY under arm detox mask. But I never thought of using a cream or something to tackle the pigmentation. Let's see if Dot & Key Underarm Colour Correction Serum helped me or not?

Brand Claims and Ingredients

My experience
The product is housed in a cute pink packaging. The outer cardboard box is a keeper for me. The underarm serum packaging is quite compact. However the cap comes off quickly so keep in mind while packing with other products in your handbag or skincare bag.

Coming to the consistency and texture of the product, it has a serum consistency and has soft, gooey texture. The serum gets absorbed easily in the underarm area. However it has a strong artificial fragrance, which really bothers me. Especially if you use it during the day and once you start sweating, the fragrance of serum along with the sweat gives a bad odour sort of fragrance.

Coming to the efficiency of the serum, it has lightened my underarm pigmentation to a lot of extent. And I have been using it day and night since 3 weeks. I sometimes even skip using it during the day to avoid the fragrance of serum mixing with sweat odour. Still the serum has shown significant amount of lightening in the underarm pigmentation. The serum gets absorbed immediately and doesn't leave any sticky or oily residue. It has also reduced the thickening of the arm folds, very little though. Overall am satisfied with the Serum in case of lightening the underarm pigmentation.

The In
  • Reduces pigmentation in dark underarms and restores the natural even tone of skin
  • Made with skin lightening botanical extracts of bearberry leaf and peony root
  • Corrects uneven skin tone
  • Brightens the underarm area
  • Gives smooth, soft and evenly toned underarms with regular usage (weeks and maybe months)
  • No parabens, sulphates, alcohol
  • Cruelty Free, Dermatologist Tested

The Out
  • The fragrance feels very artificial
  • Contains Parfum as one of the ingredients

Price, Shelf life and Availability - 895 INR for 50ml, with a shelf life of 3 years. Available on Dot and Key website. Also you can avail 20% off on your purchase by using coupon code SONALI20 .

Recommendation
Dot & Key Underarm Colour Correction Serum is a good option to tackle underarm pigmentation, especially if you are a busy person and don't have time to use DIY or natural remedies. The serum showed significant reduction in pigmentation within 2 weeks for me. Plus am not a person who sweats too much. The ease of use, non greasy, non oily feeling makes it a winner in terms of usage. However the artificial fragrance of Dot & Key Underarm Colour Correction Serum is something which I don't like. If you are looking to reduce underarm pigmentation the easy way pick it up. Also ease of use comes with a price.

Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask Review

I love using powder cleanser and face packs since ages (lol, not ages, since many years). The versatility of dry powder face packs and cleansers is unmatchable by the ready made one. Being said that, you need to shrug off your laziness to mix in the water to a powder cleanser or face packs and use them 😛. Today am talking about Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask. Did I like using this product as a cleanser or just a face packs? Read to know 😛.

Brand Claims and Ingredients -

My experience
The product is housed in a square, plastic bottle which has a screw cap. This sort of packaging is easy to use. The product doesn't spill or leak from the container.

Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask has a typical green tea fragrance. I myself make powder cleansers, and have been making green tea mint cleanser since 2 years so I can immediately tell it's green tea fragrance. The product has rice powder as a major ingredient and hence the texture is of that kind. The other two ingredients green tea and neem, are very fine powders.

I used this Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask as a mask only once. Applying this mask was a bit messy as I couldn't apply a uniform layer on my face. As is I love using powder cleansers so I use it instead of a face wash at night and am very happy with the effects it gives to my skin.

Firstly the mask has tiny granules in it which makes it easier to use as a scrub and I mildly scrub the white heads on my skin with this. Regularly using this for 1 weeks has helped me get rid of my white heads along with my regular routine. The mask nicely scrubs off dead skin cells also and you don't need to use a separate scrub. After washing off, the skin feels brightened, smooth and soft. I like the instant brightening effects rice powder gives to the skin. Skin feels squeaky clean and gives a soft glow to the skin regular usage. The tiny zits I had on my skin calm down and start healing immediately after 2-3 days and their size is considerably reduced with regular usage of the mask as a cleanser.

Price, Shelf life and Availability - 750 INR for 60 gms of the product with a shelf life of 2 years. Available on Suganda website

Recommendation
Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask is a good product to use as a cleanser cum mask cum scrub. I love this quality of the product of doubling up a job in skincare. Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask worked better for me as a cleanser than a mask. Moreover with regular usage it has helped me to get rid of my white heads along with my skincare routine. I would highly recommend Suganda Neem Green Tea Mask to oily, acne prone skin types to use this product as a mask cum cleanser cum scrub. It also gives instant brightening effects and heals acne. Also keep in mind, not to rub harshly while using any powder cleanser.

Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer Review, Price

Today am reviewing the most raved moisturizer you all are coming across all over Instagram, Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer. Oily acne prone skinned beauties have a hard time finding a suitable moisturizer. Every other moisturizer feels heavy on the skin or leaves oily shine. So using a light weight moisturizer is a must for oily skin. Moreover an oil free moisturizer is like a cherry on the cake. Does Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer fit the bill and suffice it's claims. Did it work for me, would I be repurchasing it? Read on to know.

Brand Claims and Ingredients

The product is packaged in an amber coloured glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The glass packaging is pretty light in weight but due care is to be taken. Also I would not term this as non travel friendly as we all tend to have bubble packaging or special travel bags to carry such stuff. The dispenser works nicely and cap fits in perfectly tight.

Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer has a light weight texture, the consistency is medium runny. I like the consistency of the moisturizer, light yet hydrating and moisturizing. It wouldn't be an exaggeration if I say I have never come across such a consistency of moisturizer. It sinks right into the skin without any greasy or watery feeling. The fragrance is a little herbal sort and nonetheless I love sniffing it

The product has Niacinamide as one of the major ingredients. Niacinamide speeds up the skin cell turnover and in my case it caused a lot of purging when I started using the product. The reason, existing clogged pores which were brought to surface due to Niacinamide. When I started using the product I hardly had time to take good care of my skin. Just washing my face and a moisturizer was my routine. Also initially I used the product like a greedy person using three pumps.

After a lot of purging, I inculcated the moisturizer in my CTM routine and also reduced the amount of moisturizer I used. The results were very less to almost no purging. Although purging left me with marks all over the face which made me unhappy and I still continued using the moisturizer in my CTM routine. Again when I couldn't moisturize my skin or forgot to use the moisturizer for straight 4-5 days, the purging was still there. So consistency is the key for acne prone skin  which continuously brings the clogged pore to the surface and gets rid of acne.

Honestly speaking, I was not happy with Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer for the purging effects it had on my skin. Although I did experience smooth and soft skin with regular usage of the moisturizer. The product has also reduced the pigmentation I have near my lips and on the edges of my nostrils.

I wouldn't say this moisturizer will suit acne prone skin (which is prone to clogged pores). It would suit normal skin and combination skin (not clogged one). If your skin doesn't get clogged easily on the skin Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer would be the best pick since the ingredients are good for speeding up the skin's healing and pigmentation.

Price, Shelf life and Availability - 750 INR for 50 gms with a shelf life of one and half year. Available on Suganda Website.

Recommendation
Patience is the key when it comes to some skincare products, especially when some unusual ingredients are involved. Similar was the case of Suganda White Lotus Moisturizer for me. I have used the moisturizer for about 8 weeks now and it purges me initially. I would rather use this moisturizer as a part of my CTM routine rather than using as a standalone day moisturizer. The moisturizer is best suited for non acne prone skin types (except dry skin of course, it can be used as a serum by dry skin). Although am still scared of the purging and would not repurchase this one. Although that's my personal opinion and some may be comfortable with the purging. As of now am using it on and off and am half way through the product.

Skincare Empties #14

Hi All,

Starting another month of the year 2019 with an empties post. I have been hoarding skincare products like anything since last year only to realize how little product we need for each use. So basically there is no point in hoarding two tubs of moisturizer which are 50 gms. It surely goes a long way when it comes to face moisturizers or face packs or face oils. So in order to save the products from expiry I have used some products in an alternative way. Let's get into the post.

Moolit Cleansing Cream
This is an early version of the cream and it is all set to get revamped. Keeping products in fridge has it's own disadvantages, we often forget to use the product. I didn't want that to happen to this beauty. Also emptying this product means am all set to buy the new version. Utkarshini you reading 😂.

Stay Wild Child Chamomile Night Cream
I really love this night gel, I had purchased it last year around March and liked it so much that I ended up buying another tub. I forgot to use this one and so to keep dryness at bay I used it as a body moisturizer. I don't like the fragrance of this night gel. A nice pick if you have oily acne prone skin.

The Nature's Co Saffron Radiance Cream
I like the texture of this cream. I had received it as a freebie when I purchased Biobloom face oil from Shwetali. The cream will be suitable for normal to dry skin types. I used very little quantity each time and this small tub lasted me around one month. Sometimes I used extra amount on my neck so as to empty.

Gulnare Zesty Lemon Face Exfoliator
I like the squeaky and smooth feeling this scrub leaves on the face. Although the ingredients are simple and it can be a DIY. I had received it in one of my VanityCask boxes

Sand Soapaholics Face Puree
It was gifted to me by Archana of IBeautySpy. I thoroughly enjoyed using the face cleanser. Since the expiry of the product was in April I had to finish it soon. I might repurchase this one.

Juicy Chemistry Under Eye Cream
My favorite eye cream has expired in this month and am going to let it go since it's dangerous to use expired products for eye. I might buy this one in near future. I wish the brand has an option of 5 gms since we don't end up using a lot of product for under eye for each usage.

So that was a teeny tiny empties list and am going to review some more products soon.

Greenie Mill Rose & Vanilla Body Lotion Review

Few weeks back I won a giveaway from Greenie Mill in which the winner could pick up three products for themselves. I informed Madhu from Greenie Mill that apart from the seabuckthron facewash she could send anything which she wants to. So she sent me this body lotion. After about using half the bottle am writing this review.

Brand Claims and Ingredients

My experience
The product is housed in a plastic pump up bottle. The pump dispenser is very small so you need to pump up lotion endlessly to get the desired quantity of the lotion. The bottle is secure, sleek and travel friendly.

The product has an extremely non greasy, non buttery, non oily texture and is extremely light weight. The consistency is medium and neither thick nor runny. It gets applied easily on the body and gets absorbed even faster than that.

The product has a rose fragrance which feels duly authentic and is not overpowering or easily fading one. The main ingredient of the lotion is Rose distillate hence the authentic fragrance.

I have been using this lotion as a night routine on my hands and legs (sometimes I even apply to my face, for which I would blame my laziness). The lotion is not overtly moisturising and sticky. It cures dry patches with regular use in winters. It is suitable for summers as opposed to the harsh winters. Also this lotion is more suitable for people with normal skin and not meant for dry skinned beauties.

The product is free from parabens, synthetic fragrances and other nasty chemicals.

Few days back I had a severe itching on my legs and I applied this lotion to test it. Within seconds of applying the lotion the itchiness vanished and my skin was feeling very soothed and calmed down. My son urges me to apply this lotion to him also and so far am having a good experience.

Price, Shelf Life and Availability - 300 INR for 100 gms with a shelf life of 1 year from manufacturing and can be ordered on greeniemill.com

Recommendation
Greenie Mill Rose & Vanilla Body Lotion is more of a summer time body lotion rather than the one to be used in winters. I wish the body lotion was a bit emollient in nature so as to suffice as an all year round body lotion. Considering the price we pay for the lotion, I would recommend picking it up in summers. Also the high price point can be attributed to Rose distillate being the major ingredient in the lotion. It has rose essential oil in it as well. I am already on an empty spree so am using this lotion in winters also.

Sachi Rituals Earthy Element Brightening Face Masque Review

I love clay masks, ask me why? Oily skin! I like experimenting with face packs and cleansers the most when it comes to skincare. After trying the Sachi Rituals Earthy Element Brightening Face Masque for a few weeks here is my review.

Brand Claims and Ingredients -

Packaging - The product is housed in a black plastic tub which looks classy and is easy to handle.

Consistency, Texture and Color - The mask is a ready to use one which I so needed in these winters. The consistency is neither thick nor thin, it has a nice consistency which makes application easy. The texture of the mask is not smooth. It has some granules (quite small though) which make smooth application a task. Also the granules need to be washed off carefully so as not to hurt the skin. The colour of the mask is like multani mitti, faint brown.

My experience - After applying the mask for the first time, it gives a little tingling sensation which settles down in few seconds. Afterwards I didn't experience any tingling sensation whenever I applied. The mask dries up faster than thought and you need to wash it off in 10 minutes in these winters. After washing off, the face mask gives a good glow and cleanses the skin very well. The thing which I like the most about the face pack is that it doesn't dry out the skin at all. Although being said that this mask would suit normal, oily and combination skin types and is definitely not for dry skin types.

Price, Shelf life and Availability - 480 INR for 65 gms with a shelf life of 6 months after opening. Available on sachirituals.com

Recommendation
Sachi Rituals Earthy Element Brightening Face Masque is a ready to use face pack which gives a nice glow to the skin without drying up the skin even in winters. Being a Clay based mask it is suitable for oily, normal, combination skin types. The fact that it has small granules which make smooth application is tad bit of a task, is the only complain I have about this pack. Also full ingredients list is not mentioned since it says just preservative as an ingredient. The quantity offered is also good according to the price. If you love trying different face packs then go for this one next time.

Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream Review

Juicy Chemistry brand has been on my wishlist since ages. I was always confused as to what to buy, the cleansers, face scrub or a pack. When they had a 40% sale in the month of August 2018, I right away ordered the under eye cream. Under eye cream was on my radar after reading reviews of Archana from IBeautySpy. Let's head to the review to check how it fairs and is it worth the money.

Brand Claims and Ingredients

My experience
As seen in the pictures, the under eye cream is housed in a tub. Most natural, handmade, organic products have such packaging. I have no complains as such with the packaging. The tub is easy to carry around and the eye cream is not gooey or liquid form so no question of leakage and mess.

Coming to the fragrance of Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream , it has a minty, soothing fragrance. Once you get addicted to such a fragrance it's hard to get off. The product as you can see is, yellow in colour and yes it does tint the under eye area when applied. The texture if the product is buttery and melts when taken on a finger. It gets applied easily although due care is to be taken as it can stain the pillow covers or clothes.

The under eye cream started to show effects in 15 days on my under eye and puffiness. The fragrance is a bit too much to handle for an under eye cream. The cream leaves a ln oily, Yello film behind which makes me very lazy to use it on a regular basis nowadays. Although once we start using the eye cream on a regular basis the fragrance doesn't bother. The under eye cream, has a peculiar grainy texture and forms a thick waxy layer. When I opened the under eye cream it didn't have waxy layer. As and when I started using the cream, it started forming a waxy layer. I was worried and I messaged Juicy Chemistry team, to which they said it is Shea butter solidified and it will melt once rubbed and it does melt once rubbed.

Also if you try applying a little more quantity than the normal quantity, you will end up with watery eyes. It sometimes also gives mild peppermint sort fumes when applied too much. The thumb rule for this under eye cream is little goes a long way and consistent usage gives results. If you use consistently and then give a break of few days then the effects can be very little. Although am trying to be consistent with this eye cream, often due to the yellow tint I become disinterested. This under eye cream won't suit sensitive eyes or eyes which become watery easily. Overall my verdict would be if you are looking for a good under eye cream for reducing the dark circles and puffiness Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream would be a good choice. For people who don't prefer using essential oil concoction, this cream isn't for you.

The In
  • Helps reduce dark circles with consistent usage
  • Reduces under eye puffiness and evens out fine lines and wrinkles
  • Certified Organic by Ecocert Greenlife According to COSMOS Standard
  • Free from Mineral Oil, Synthetic Fragrance, Colors, Parabens, BHT/BHA, Sulphates, Silicones, and other toxic / harmful chemicals
  • Little goes a long way and product lasts longer
  • Superb ingredients list
  • Cruelty Free
  • 100 % Vegetarian
The Out
  • Not suitable for sensitive eyes
  • Cannot be worn under makeup
Price, Shelf life and Availability - 450 INR for 10 gms, available on major shopping portals and often on discounts.

Recommendation
As far as dark under eye is concerned, it depends on a lot of factors ranging from health problems to gadgets' exposure. An under eye cream cannot fully cure under eye area darkness and puffiness. An eye cream is supposed to nourish and relax the under eye area. Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream does it's job of reducing the under eye darkness perfectly. Although being said that, using an eye cream alone to cure dark under eye would be a contradiction. Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream won't suit sensitive eyes because it results in watery eyes if applied in excess. It is not a cream which can be worn beneath makeup to nourish under eye area due to it's yellow tint. If you are looking to reduce the dark circles then Juicy Chemistry Coffee and Green Tea Eye Cream is a good pick for you. Also since the brand uses all organic and natural ingredients, you can rest assured of the quality product you get.

Skincare Empties #13

So starting the year with another empties post. Am super excited for the Year 2019 as I have set some goals for my blog as well as my shop. Let's dive in for the empties post, like. I didn't empty any new products as I have been very inconsistent with my skincare routine.

Plum Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash
My ultimate favourite face wash at least till the time I find the one which will work better than this one in case of foaming cleansers. This one lasted me around 3-4 months for one time use daily. We often crib about the price and quantity but we seldom understand that 75 ml of a face wash lasts longer than thought. I am going to purchase this again when I empty all my foaming cleansers.

Kaira Naturals Aloe Vera Gel
I am short of words for this aloe gel. It ahs helped me clear up my acne scars slowly. This was a repurchase for me. Kaira Naturals has another variant of aloe gel now which has rosehip CO2 extracts. I might buy sometime, but not soon as I have a lot of products to empty.

Biotique Morning Nectar Visibly Flawless Moisturizer
I had received Biotique Morning Nectar Visibly Flawless Moisturizer in one the VanityCask boxes. I like it fragrance and how it doubles up as a body moisturizer while not making the face oily. However the thing which I don't like about it is that they don't mention full ingredients list. Am not repurchasing this one.

Plum Green Tea Clear Face Mask
Am going to repurchase this one life long maybe. It makes my skin bright and reduces the breakouts. My skin has healed a lot by using the toner, face wash and night gel. I am never letting this face mask out of my vanity.

Mcaffine Uplift Trance Caffeine Cream
This is hydrating cream, but this brand according to me isn't the one on which money can be spent. Honestly speaking given a chance to try out the products wouldn't be worth my time. It has a weird smell like cologne and I absolutely don't like it.

Blue Nectar Brightening and Radiance Sandalwood Cream
The cream is good and gives a radiant skin, however the sandalwood fragrance is very high for my sensitive nose ot handle. The cream is too good for all skin types and also doubles u as a good massage cream. I won't however repurchase due to the high price point.

So this was my empties list and I am hoping to post another empties post soon.

Urvi Naturals Jojoba Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil Review

Few months back I received the products from Urvi Naturals namely Jojoba Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil. This is the only carrier oil and essential oil blend which works great for my acne prone skin as well as my dandruff. I have used both the products for sufficient time to write this review.

The Jojoba Oil packaging is square plastic bottle with an inner lid and metallic screw top. The bottle bears all the necessary information and is super handy for travel also. The oil is golden yellow in colour and consistency is light weight in texture. If we massage it into the skin it absolutely leaves no traces on skin. I have used it alone as well as mixed two drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil in two teaspoon of this jojoba oil as a skin treatment for few days when my skin was going through a rough time. It made my acne vanish in 2-3 days while leaving a faint mark on the face. I have also used the above mixture for my dandruff and it helped in reducing the dandruff when used regularly. I have used the Jojoba Oil as a hair serum on my dry hair and the effects lasted for almost a day.
Price - 520 INR for 100ml with a shelf life of 2 years, to be used within 6 months of opening.

Coming to the essential oil, Urvi Naturals is one of those brands offering authentic essential oils without dilution. I have used another brand for Tea Tree Essential Oil and it had the same fragrance as of this one. Also the effective of essential oil speaks for itself. The Tea Tree Essential Oil is packed in an amber coloured glass bottle with a dispenser. The dispenser however dispenses a lot of drops at one go, and that's my only complaint about the essential oil.
Price - 375 INR for 10ml with a shelf life of 2 years, to be used within 6 months of opening.

I also received a leaflet from Urvi Naturals which mentioned some simple DIYs of the Jojoba Oil and Tea Tree Essential Oil. The most noteworthy thing about this brand is the disclaimer they have put up on labels of essential oils regarding use during pregnancy and in case of children.

All in all I can say that you won't be disappointed by the quality products Urvi Naturals offers, be it their carrier oils or essential oils. What bothers me is non amber coloured bottles for carrier oils and a fast dispensing dispenser for essential oils. This is more of a packaging feedback wherein the actual products work great for my skin. I recently purchased Organic Neem Oil from Urvi Naturals and am planning to make a sleeping mask out of the Jojoba Oil, tea tree oil and aloe gel. Will update you guys once I make and use.
